At the Wentworth Golf Club in Jackson Village, the picturesque course provides outstanding views of the majestic Presidential Range and the scenic splendor of the Wildcat and Ellis Rivers as they meander throughout the course.

Opening Day:  Open May 10th, 2019    Closing Day:  late October
Hours:  7:00 am—5:30 pm
Signature Hole: Fourteenth Hole. 185 yards uphill, par 3, 2 greenside bunkers and a small creek behind and to the left of the green.
Most Scenic Hole: Fifteenth Hole. 460 yards, par 5, downhill tee shot, second shot over water to green on highest spot of the course overlooking all of Jackson Village.
Programs: June – August: Red Fox League   
Pro Shop: 2100 ft Full Service Shop with men’s and ladies’ apparel, outerwear, putters, wedges, equipment and a custom fitting center.  Custom orders anytime.
Clubhouse:   Modern post and beam clubhouse with field stone fireplace, snack bar, locker room, bag storage and pro shop.
Restaurant/Lounge:
1.  Madeline's Sandwich Deli located on course. Offering sensational sandwiches, specials and alcoholic drinks.
2.  Red Fox Bar and Grille locoated on RT 16 across from the covered bridge.  Full liquor license, Josper oven, WOODFIRE mesquite grille, brick oven pizza, function facility and sports bar.
Lodging Property: Numerous inns, hotels and resorts are located within minutes of the course.
History and Anecdotes: Rumor has it that golfers at the Wentworth Golf Club had to deal with a smart little creature who had a habit of stealing golf balls from the course.  According to Lloyd Jones, a local writer, the fox had been seen running onto the course and snatching the golf balls right off of the course.  This  was a frustrating situation for golfers who met up with the fox, having hit a nice drive and then watching the mischevous  fox steal the ball and run off into the woods.   Folklore has it that the fox was not an ordinary one - this fox had style, preferring to steal the expensive golf balls, while leaving the less expensive ones on the course untouched.   The wily creature gained such notoriety, that the course’s restaurant was named after it, now called the “Red Fox Bar & Grille”.
