American Culinary Federation White Mountain Chapter

The American Culinary Federation is an organization designed to help promote American chefs world wide, from apprentices to the most accomplished certified master chefs. The ACF offers certification programs to recognize the skills and achievements of all levels of culinarians. The New Hampshire Chapter carries out the mission of the ACF by offering scholarships, encouraging area involvement in the chapter and promoting culinary education. One of the Chapter's education programs is the Chef and the Child. ACF memeber chefs visit area schools to demonstrate the benefits of good nutrition, sanitation and the diversity of the Culinary Arts in our chapter are. The Chapter's Scholarship program is aimed at qualified high school graduates who will pursue a post-secondary education in a culinary career. In the last five years the ACF NH Chapter has donated over $10,000 to Scholarship Funds. The annual Taste of New Hampshire Gala Dinner & Dance held at the Eagle Mountain House is the Chapter's largest fundraiser. In its 32nd year, the Taste utilizes the creative and culinary talents of its member chefs in New Hampshire. The funds raised from this event benefit the Chef in the Classroom, the Scholarship Fund, the Culinary Symposium and membership culinary education. The Chapter meets monthly at various locations and all persons interested in joining are encouraged to attend.
