Conway Historical Society

In 1962 Robert Raymond (Bowser) Lord donated his historic family home, pictured below, to CHS. The Lord property now holds the Eastman Lord House Museum, CHS Office, and Gift Shop.
The museum features period rooms representing 1818 through 1945.

Due to major rearrangements and renovations, The Eastman-Lord House Museum will be closed until further notice.

The Conway Historical Society's Eastman Lord House Museum in Conway was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
The C.H.S presents a wide variety of well-attended Monthly Programs. Unless otherwise noted programs are held at the Conway Congregational Church beginning at 7:00 PM on the second Tuesday of each month. 

The society works closely with area schools, presenting programs in the Eastman Lord House as well as in local classrooms.
