Zippidy Do Da, Zippity Day in Mt Washington Valley

North Conway, NH:  When it comes to exhilarating fun, you’ll find plenty of options in Mt Washington Valley.  Choose from five different zipline opportunities located throughout the Valley, more than any other region in Mt Washington Valley. From single to double zips to canopy tour and ropes courses, Mt Washington Valley's adventure parks offer up plenty of thrilling rides.  Note reservations are required for most and some height and weight restrictions apply. 

Attitash Mountain Resort’s ZipTour, Bartlett, NH: Fly high on the Attitash ZipTour above the tree canopy from the summit of Bear Peak over to mid-mountain of Attitash and from there to the base of Attitash! This ZipTour Adventure consists of two zip lines spanning across two mountain peaks. The Flying Bear Zip is the longest single span zipline in the contiguous United States. It takes you from the summit of Bear Peak over the valley towards Attitash Mountain. A top speed of 65+ mph is possible while reaching heights of 250' off the ground as you make your way down the 4,969' length distance ... that's almost a mile long!  But wait, there's more! From there, you'll fly on the Attitash Aerial Zip, taking you from upper Thad's Choice to the base of Attitash, another 2,196 feet! Bretton Woods Canopy Tour, Bretton Woods, NH: Situated high on the slopes of Bretton Woods and descending over 1000 feet of elevation, the 3-hour tour takes nature-lovers and thrill-seekers across a series of tree-top zip lines and across the canopy of the forest. Participants are brought on an adventure that includes a network of platforms high up in the ancient hemlock trees connected by nine ziplines, two sky bridges and three rappels.   This 3-hour excursion offers both a thrilling experience and an intimate look into the wilds of the White Mountains, with sweeping views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range. The longest zip is about 830 ft. long and about 165 ft. high off the forest floor.  Each tour can accommodate up to eight participants who descend 1000 feet in elevation with two Adventure Guides, from the top of Rosebrook Canyon to the base of Bretton Woods. Thorough training beforehand along with experienced guides put even the first-timers at ease. Cranmore Mountain Resort’s Soaring Eagle Zipline, North Conway, NH: This thrill ride lets you experience the sensation of flying, while accelerating you 700 feet down the mountainside on a suspended cable. You can even share the fun with a friend on the comfortable side-by-side seats. Monkey Trunks High Ropes Adventure and Zipline, Chocorua, NH: This self-guided ropes course and zipline park offers 61 challenges and 11 ziplines. Each level gets progressively more challenging so be prepared to push yourself! You’ll tackle swinging beams, tightropes, rolling logs, hanging tires, cargo nets and more. There’s no time limit on the course so move through each level at your own pace and enjoy every challenge. Experienced instructors will be there, keeping an eye out at every level. Each levels rewards participants with a unique zipline ride that will encourage you to go on and complete the next level. The zips get bigger and better the higher up guests go. You’ll be able to zip side-by-side and race with a fellow monkey as you take in the views of Mount Chocorua. Zip 55ft off the ground and wrap things up with a final 300ft zip on the Black Course. There’s also a tamer course for the younger set course including 6-8 challenges with an 80 foot zipline at the finish. All the kids platforms are no more than 6ft off the ground/ Adults must stay on the ground but can walk alongside while offering encouragement and taking photos. Wildcat Moutain’s Ziprider, Pinkham Notch, NH:  This four-person ZipRider zipline brings riders combines the exhilaration of flight with the beautiful surrounding scenery.  The ZipRider descends 2,100 feet over trails, treetops and the Peabody River. The ZipRider adventure begins with a ride up the Snowcat Triple chairlift and a brief, up-hill walk to the zipline start deck. Riders travel on cables suspended at heights of up to 70 feet on a 12 percent grade, and reach speeds up to 45 miles per hour to a landing platform located a short distance from our Main Base Lodge. Add a ride on the Wildcat gondola afterward and a picnic at the top for a truly romantic couples day in the mountains.  Info: https://www.skiwildcat.com/ziprider/.
