Opening weekend for ski season 2017-18 is Veteran's Day weekend



And so it begins….Ski season in Mt Washington Valley kicks off this weekend with Wildcat opening

 

We’ve gone from summer to winter and while the foliage didn’t disappoint, we’ve essentially skipped late fall weather in Mt Washington Valley, NH.  That familiar sound of the snow guns whoosh is being heard throughout the Valley as snowmaking gets underway at Bretton Woods and Wildcat.  The rest of the Valley’s ski resorts will fire up snowmaking operations as temps drop with this week’s winter weather moving in.

Wildcat To Open Early For 2017-2018 Ski Season

Wildcat Taking Advantage Of Low Temperatures To Make Early Season Snow And Open Terrain

Pinkham Notch, NH –Wildcat Mountain is pleased to announce early opening dates for the 2017-18 skiing and riding season. The mountain will be opening for skiing and riding this Saturday, November 11, 2017, marking one of the earliest openings for Wildcat in the past decade.

 “Wildcat has always been known for its early openings, and we’re thrilled to continue the tradition,” stated Brian Heon, general manager of Wildcat. “I can’t wait to welcome back everyone as we kick off our 60th season here at Wildcat.”
