Eight food-filled affordable spring adventures in Mt Washington Valley, NH

North Conway, NH – When April comes to Mt Washington Valley and the inevitable showers bring spring flowers, people tend to refer to this time of year “Mud Season”.  We in Mt Washington Valley prefer to refer to this time of year a spring renewal, when rushing waterfalls offer up ideal photo opportunities, hiking paths are once again revealed and the yearly trek to Tuckerman Ravine for late season skiing commences.  And from waterfall hikes to Tuckerman Ravine treks, spring adventure in Mt Washington Valley is sure to awaken the appetite too.

The 2017 North Conway Chili Cook-off kick starts the spring foodie season on April 8, 2017, with a wide variety of chili and cornbread tastings, the annual Chili stroll featuring special offers from North Conway businesses, plus new this year, the Feelin Good 5K.

Here are eight fun filled foodie packages offering tastings from grapes to grains, with BBQs and special dinners and breakfasts added in too.  Please note unless otherwise specified all packages below do not include NH lodging tax and may not be combined with any other promotion, offer or discount.

March 25-27: Maple Madness Tour offered by B&Bs Inn Mt Washington Valley, including Buttonwood Inn: The annual Maple Madness Tour offered by the B&Bs Inn Mt Washington Valley takes place March 25, 10:30am – 5:00pm. Visiting guests can learn about “sugaring” at maple sugar houses and stop in at participating “Maple Country Partners” shops and vendors along the way. Combine this self-guided maple-sampling event with an overnight stay at any of the participating inns. March 24-26: Romantic Maple Sugaring Weekend at Snowvillage Inn: The fourth weekend in March is New Hampshire Maple Sugaring Weekend, when maple sugar producers open their sugar houses, for tastings and demonstrations. The Snowvillage Inn’s romantic maple getaway includes a visit to Oak Hill Farm in South Hiram Maine where you will enjoy an all you can eat pancake breakfast, maple sugaring demonstrations, tours, and samples. The package starts with two nights accommodations starting with a special gift awaiting upon arrival. Enjoy a three-course dinner in Max’s Restaurant and Pub.
