Mt Washington Valley Fall foliage report – October 13, 2016

Mt Washington Valley is aflame in harvest hues as peak color fills in from the Northern reaches in Bretton Woods to the southern tip in East Madison and beyond.   We’ve reached the pinnacle of leaf-peeping season with gorgeous color throughout the Valley drawing record numbers of visitors from throughout the world.  The Mt Washington Cog Railway broke records over Columbus Day weekend for ridership, and businesses throughout the Valley reported business, sales and traffic is well up over last year.

With a sunny, cool and crisp weekend forecasted, leaf-peepers will be treated to blue skies against a backdrop of peak foliage throughout Mt Washington Valley.
