                                 MT WASHINGTON VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE NAMED AMONG TOP 100 CHAMBERS FOR USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA

North Conway, NH – Two years ago OnlineMBA.com set out to create a list of the top social media friendly chambers of commerce. Updated every two years, the newest list was released in late 2015 and the Mt Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce made it on to the esteemed list of Top 100 Social Media Friendly Chambers of Commerce.  After reviewing the social media practices of 2000 chambers, those making it to the list represent the top 5-percent of chambers recognized for their use of social media.  The Mt Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce was one of only three New England chambers to make it to the list, and the only one in Maine and New Hampshire.

According to Bob Horton, Editor-in-Chief of OnlineMBAPage.com, “State and local chambers of commerce have been providing valuable networking opportunities for members for years, but social media is rapidly changing the way we meet and interact with people.”.  Scoring for the Top 100 Social Media Friendly Chambers was accomplished on a 100-point scale with 20 points for Facebook, 20 for Twitter, 15 for YouTube, 15 for LinkedIn, 15 for Google Plus, 5 for Pinterest, 5 for Instagram, and 5 for Flickr.
