The middle of March marks warmer weather, shorts and tee’s on the slopes. April is a reminder that the ski season is closer to the end than to the beginning and with April comes with the announcement of this year’s season pass deals. This April often marks means even more reasons to hit the trails for the best spring skiing in years. After as much as 170” of seasonal snowfall this year, skiing conditions are the best they’ve been for a long time moving into the final weeks of the ski season. To celebrate the seven Alpine and six Nordic ski areas have launched fantastic late season pass deals, with some including skiing this year. The early skier gets the deal; the earlier you buy your season pass for next year, the better the deal.

Attitash Mountain Resort and Wildcat Mountain are promoting the look of the season, with the “Goggle Tan Granite Spring Pass” valid for use any day for the remainder of the 2014-2015 season. For $189.00 for all ages, the new “Goggle Tan Spring Pass” is valid for unlimited use at Attitash, Wildcat and Crotched Mountain ski areas for the remainder of this season. And to sweeten the deal, Attitash and Wildcat are also letting new “Goggle Tan Spring Pass” holders upgrade their pass on or before June 1, 2015 and apply the $189 amount toward the purchase of a 2015-2016 season pass. Attitash Mountain Resort will be open until Sunday, April 5 and Wildcat Mountain is out to be the last New Hampshire ski resort to close, projecting to be offering operating lift-serviced skiing and riding until Sunday, May 3. Having been the first in the state to open, the current season is set to be one of Wildcat’s longest ever. There are a limited number of Goggle Tan Granite Spring Passes available, so make sure you reserve yours today and enjoy the rest of the season by calling 888-SKI-WILD or 800-223-7769.

Ski for free at King Pine Ski Area for the rest of the season when you purchase your 2015-2016 season ski pass, anytime from now on. Pass holders can lock-in the 2014-2015 season pass rates with a $99.00 deposit toward next years pass. The remaining season pass balance will not be due until late fall of 2015. This special pass offer also helps skiers and riders pay for the pass in two payments while protecting against a possible rate increase for next season. Additionally, the $99.00 payment allows new season pass-holders to ski or snowboard for free at King Pine, from now through the end of the season.

Bretton Woods is celebrating spring with multiple lift ticket specials going on now through early April. Gather up your friends and plan a spring skiing weekend including March 20th. When you buy one adult lift ticket for $75.00 on 3/20/15, you will receive one free lift ticket in addition.

Bretton Woods also has some very special ticket pricing for those who purchase tickets online and in advance. Their Sunday “Spring Skiing Special” features an exclusive online lift ticket rate of $60.00, Sunday, March 22nd and 29th. This offer is not available at the ticket window and must be purchased online, in advance, here.

Those looking to ski midweek at Bretton Woods can purchase their lift tickets Monday through Friday for the incredible price of $45.00, now until April 3rd.

In addition to these great spring specials, Bretton Woods is also offering an early 2015-2016 season pass promotion. Purchase a 2015-2016 “Winter Mountain” or “Winter Mountain Limited” pass before March 29, 2015 and new 2015-2016 Winter Mountain pass holders can ski from now until the end of the season for free. Existing pass holders will receive one free anytime lift ticket to Bretton Woods, valid until the end of the 2014-2015 season, with the early purchase of their 2015-2016 “Winter Mountain” or “Winter Mountain Limited” pass. Your lift ticket that comes with an early purchase of next season’s pass is transferable, allowing you to share it with a friend or family member and enjoy a day on the slopes together.

Shawnee Peak is showcasing the “Early Bird Season Pass” special until April 6th. First time pass-holders can purchase a 2015-2016 season pass and enjoy complimentary skiing for the rest of the 2014-2015 season. Cranmore Mountain presents the “March 3-Pack.” This includes three non-transferable lift tickets valid any day in March 2015 for only $109.00 translating to just $36 per ticket. Tickets must be pre-purchased online.

In addition to this money saving ticket offer, Cranmore has many additional season pass options for the upcoming 2015-2016 season. For example, Cranmore Mountain has teamed up with Bretton Woods for the Sun N’ Snow pass. At just $499.00 holders of this pass can ski and ride at both mountains, on all lifts, Sunday through Friday. Get to Black Mountain before June 1st, 2015 and take advantage of a $75.00 savings on any of the pass options. With passes for adults, teens, youth, tots ages five and under, Seniors ages 75 and older and those who serve in the military, you’re sure to find a pass that is perfect for you.

Right now your ski pass is worth its weight in gold at Great Glen Trails (GGT). Show your current season pass from any other ski area in the world and receive 50% off a Great Glen trail pass through the end of the season, seven days a week. GGT is also offering season passes at 50% off for first-time pass holders for the 2015-2016 season. Additionally, Great Glen Trails is offering free season passes to children ages 17 and under when that child’s parent or guardian purchases a 2015/16 season pass. These are two fantastic ways to save and encourage first time GGT Nordic skiers to get out and try a sport they may have always wanted to try. A GGT trails pass also gives pass-holders access to the trail network where they can not only Nordic ski, but snowshoe and tube as well.

Jackson Ski Touring Foundation (JSTF) has special spring pricing on 2015-2016 trail passes. This pass gives skiers access to more than 130km of trails, including classic and skate groomed trails as well as back-county Nordic skiing.
