MWVCC Celebrates 15th Annual Business To Business Expo, May 14, 2013

Premier networking and business expo in New Hampshire’s North Country 

North Conway, NH – The Mt Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce will present the 15th Annual Business to Business Expo, on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Omni Mount Washington Hotel. Entitled Profitable Paths: “The power of positivity, this is the largest business networking event of the year in the North Country, designed to offer premier networking and sales opportunities while showcasing a wide array of products and services offered local and regional businesses. This year’s Business to Business Expo offers the largest trade show in the North Country with the opportunity to meet more than 90 local businesses.  Add to that free workshops on marketing, social networking and insurance, OSHA and more, plus an awards luncheon where recipients of the Mt Washington Valley awards will be announced.  This year a silent auction offering plenty of wonderful opportunities for attractions, dining, lodging, services and more will be accentuated with a live auction including ski trips, African safaris and two weeks of camping for one lucky boy.   

The 15th Annual Business to Business Expo features  exhibitors from fields including technology, finance, tourism, health, education, communications, construction, services, media, and non-profit. Three free educational workshops will focus on the changing nature of Facebook, group marketing and insurance, OSHA and investing.  Here’s a description and schedule for all workshops: 

9:15 am - 10:15 am: "Facebook Times, They Are A Changin'" - What is Facebook's Graph Search? How do I "promote" a post? Should I be running Ads on Facebook? Does this mean I need to spend to been seen? Presented by:  Jason Robie of Ridgeview Technology.

10:30 am - 11:30 am:  "Shop Talk" - Join our live studio audience for a special edition of "Shop Talk", fun as all your insurance, investing and questions for OSHA are answered in a lively presentation. Presented by panelists: David Brochu, KLEOSSUM advisor, Pam Mason, M & M Assurance Group, Inc., Andrew Palhof, OSHA 

11:45 am - 12:45 pm: “Is the Group Market for You?” - Learn the ropes from group business professionals who understand the sales process, the group business lingo and the different group markets. Presented by panelistsChris Lewey - RAVEN Interpretive Programs, Susan Logan, Conway Scenic RR, Michelle Cota, Marketing Manager, NH Division of Travel and Tourism Development, Mike “White Mountain Mikey” Duprey, White Mountains Attractions.

Throughout the day expo-goers may bid on thousands of dollars worth of products and services donated by Mt Washington Valley businesses during the silent auction.  Take home everything from guided tours and attractions tickets to lawn care services and more.  The auction will be topped off with a “Big 4” live auction offering up four dream vacations.  Scofield Auctions, Inc. will run this year’s live auction including:

  • Ski Trip to Schweitzer Mountain Resort (4 Night Stay & Skiing) with Welcome Tour and Lunch with Tom Chasse (valued at over $2500)
  • Coffee with Governor Maggie Hassan (priceless)
