Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce After Hours at Memorial Hospital

NORTH CONWAY- The first Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce After Hours of the New Year was held on January 19 at Memorial Hospital. A momentous thank you was extended to President, Scott McKinnon, Director of Community Relations, Karen Cole and the entire staff for pulling this event together last minute.

The hospital staff welcomed nearly 100 guests including hospital administrators, doctors and Chamber members alike, offering tours of their newly built facilities and patient rooms. Memorial Hospital President, Scott McKinnon introduced the crowed to the attending doctors and discussed new hospital initiatives and community projects. McKinnon also introduced the Memorial Hospital’s ‘Smart Card,’ allowing patients to save time with registration and administration throughout the hospital’s network of care providers. This free card, available to everyone in the community, contains a securely coded chip holding all of the patient’s important information relieving the need to fill out confusing medical forms during registration. Those wishing to get their ‘Smart Card’ can do so by enrolling online, picking up an enrollment form or by visiting the Memorial Hospital. For more information call Memorial Hospital at 603-356-4561.

The Memorial Hospital, established in 1910, has been focused on providing comprehensive healthcare services to our community at a hospital that is close to home, right here in Mt. Washington Valley. Thanks to major investments in technology and facilities and their talented staff of healthcare providers, the Memorial Hospital has been able to more effectively serve the needs of the community. The hospital invites Valley residents to meet their providers, check out their wide range of primary and walk-in care, women's health and orthopedic services, as well as learn more about health and wellness activities offered throughout the community. For more information about Memorial Hospital call 603-356-5461 or visit www.memorialhospitalnh.org.

During the After Hours business networking event, Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Janice Crawford, highlighted some of the Chambers newest marketing programs including the new video postcard application designed to allow visitors and Mt. Washington Valley enthusiast send video clips of the Valley. This application available for use by anyone, by going to www.mtwashingtonvalley.org, allows guests to send video montages featuring Mt. Washington Valley, to the email of their choice. It is hoped that this application will spur excitement from past and potential visitors and keep Mt. Washington Valley fresh in their minds.
