Mount Washington Valley Rx Card will Provide Prescription Assistance to Locals

North Conway, NH-Members of the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce and their friends and families now have access to free discount prescription drug cards compliments of the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce. The Mount Washington Valley Rx Card will provide savings of up to 75% on prescription drugs, and is accepted at over at over 50,000 pharmacies across the country. Anyone interested in obtaining additional information about the prescription card can visit the Mount Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce website at mtwashingtonvalley.org/members and click on MWV RX Card.

The Mount Washington Valley Rx Card has no restrictions, no income or age limitations, and card recipients are not required to fill out an application. The Mount Washington Valley Rx Card was launched to help uninsured and underinsured residents afford their prescription medications. However, the program can also be used by people who have health insurance coverage with no prescription benefits, which is common in many health savings accounts (HSA) and high deductible health plans. Additionally, people who have prescription coverage can use this program for non-formulary or non-covered drugs.

The Mount Washington Valley Rx Card is a solution to the confusing maze of discount prescription programs that have appeared in recent years. Many of these programs only cover certain drugs, charge fees, and some have membership restrictions such as age and income requirements. Mt. Washington Valley Chamber members can pick up cards at the Chamber office, 2317 White Mountain Highway in North Conway Village, and locate participating pharmacies at www.mtwashingtonvalley.org/members including Wal-Mart, Osco and CVS Pharmacy.
