NORTH CONWAY- Over 100 Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce members attended this months Chamber After Hours on November 17th at The Penguin Gallery of NH located in North Conway Village. The meeting was gathered amongst displays of over 10,000 unique gift items, as owner Lynda Schuepp invited guests to start their holiday shopping by taking advantage of the one night only chamber member discount.

Executive Director, Janice Crawford discussed upcoming Chamber events such as the 7th Annual Chilly Chili Cook-Off to take place at Flatbread Company on February 20th, 2010. The Chamber is currently taking registrations for this year's cook-off, which will have added competitions such as the ‘Corn Bread Bake-Off' and the ‘Crazy Hat Contest.'

Also discussed during the meeting were a few of the new Chamber member benefits including the free subscription to Business NH Magazine for all Chamber members, and the new Mt. Washington Valley Chamber Prescription Drug Card. This free card will provide Chamber members with savings of up to 75 percent on prescription drugs at over 50,000 pharmacies across the country. Guests in attendance at this months Chamber After Hours were treated to margaritas and other beverages provided by The Penguin Galley of NH and served at the Penguin's full sized tiki bar. Rafferty's Restaurant & Pub was on hand to serve their award winning chili and other appetizers, and The Metropolitan Coffee House served their premium blend coffees and decadent desserts.
