NORTH CONWAY, NH- The Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce's Chamber After Hours on October 20th, hosted by the businesses of Willow Common in North Conway, NH, was well attended as over 120 members and non-members were present. Sharing this joint After Hours event was The UPS Store, Bellini's Restorante Italiano, Beemer's Cleaners, M&D Productions, Vintner's Cellar Winery, Sunset Interiors, Curves of North Conway and A Little Off the Top Hair Salon. Another new Chamber member and resident of Willow Common is Cinemaesque Home Theatre Company who was introduced and welcomed during last night's event.

This month's After Hours boasted a unique flair, as guests toured each of the seven Chamber member businesses open, in a scavenger-hunt-like tour of the Willow Common Plaza. Guests were invited to follow a mapped out tour each of the businesses, ending with a reception and business announcements at M&D Production's newly renovated theatre. Those who visited each of the seven Chamber member hosts that evening, were entered into a drawing to win a gift basket filled with hundreds of dollars worth of gifts and goodies donated by the hosting businesses.

Chamber members and attendees filled the theatre seats as Mt Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce board member, Bob Carper, discussed new Chamber initiatives and events including the MWV Chamber & MWV Economic Council joint Annual meeting to be held this Thursday, October 22nd. The Chamber announced that due to a fantastic response, the dinner portion of the Annual Meeting event is full, however, they invited all members to attend the annual report and cocktail reception portion of the evening beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort.

The Chamber also announced their upcoming Hands-On Member Orientation Session to be held on October 28th at 10 a.m. at Granite State College. This free orientation session, one of a five part series, offers members and potential members the opportunity to learn more about the benefits of Chamber membership. In addition to offering interactive support for updating member web listings, uploading events and packages, the Chamber will provide counseling on how to use electronic marketing software to boast marketing efforts.

Those in attendance were treated to a free 20 minute skit performed by M&D Productions directly following the Chamber announcements, and were invited to learn more about each of the featured host businesses.
