Tuckerman Brewing Company, Conway, NH: Tuckerman Brewing Co., named after the legendary Tuckerman Ravine, is a local brewery nestled right here in Mt. Washington Valley, NH. Owners Kirsten and Nik craft their beers using an age old German brewing method called "krausening," which results in a secondary fermentation in the bottle that gives the beer a delicate carbonation and intense flavor. Come visit the brewery on Saturdays at 3 p.m., at their location on Hobbs Street in Conway, and catch their free brewery tour where visitors can view the newly renovated brewery and sample some of their hand-crafted beers. Try the Tuckerman Pale Ale or 6,288 Stout (named after the altitude of Mount Washington herself), at one of the many bars in Mt. Red Parka Steakhouse & Pub, Glen, NH: This family owned restaurant and pub has been a local favorite for over 30 years, and with weekly and seasonal events it's no wonder! Come to the pub on Monday's for their weekly open mic night or catch their live entertainment on the weekends, but be sure not to miss their annual adult prom and beach parties.
