Free Recycling Workshop for Businesses and Schools, Sept. 22

 

Businesspeople and school administrators seeking to start, restart, improve, or expand a business- or school-based trash recycling program can learn how to do so at a free workshop set for Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the Eastern Slope Inn in North Conway.

 

Titled, "Recycling 101," the session is offered by the Mt. Washington Valley Green Team, and is set to run from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Presenters will provide instruction in how to start or reinvigorate a recycling program in a workshop designed to help attendees walk away with the tools and resources to help begin changing the recycling culture in the workplace or school environment the very next day.

 

The session will provide also provide opportunities for discussion and networking, as well as the chance to talk with commercial haulers to learn of trash recycling options.

 

A light lunch will be provided.

The Green Team is a committee of the Mt. Washington Valley Preservation Association in affiliation with the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce, and was developed to promote and encourage environmentally sustainable practices that will lead to positive, measurable business, community, and environmental results.
