MWV CHAMBER INSTALLS NEW BIKE RACK TO SUPPORT LOCAL CYCLING INITIATIVE

NORTH CONWAY--In an effort to establish North Conway and the Mt. Washington Valley as a bike friendly destination, the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce has installed a bike rack at their North Conway Information Booth. The Chamber would like to thank Donald Judge of Donald G. Judge - Handyman Services for the installation of the new bike rack as well as North Conway Public Library and Ralph Cronin of NH Active Sports Group for their assistance in obtaining this bike rack.

The Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce supports MWV Cycling initiatives and encourages other businesses throughout our community to support this growing movement. The Kearsarge Bike Lane initiative will be discussed at the September 8th, 4 p.m. Town of Conway Selectmen's meeting. All those interested in cycling are encouraged to attend this meeting to show support for the project.

We wish to thank those who have donated funds for this project and remind people that we are still accepting donations toward the $60,000 sum needed to match state funds to secure the bike lanes future. We would also appreciate letters of support for this project from community organizations. Thank you to Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce and the MWV Velo Club for already providing theirs.

Please send letters of support to:
