MT WASHINGTON VALLEY BUSINESS TO BUSINESS EXPO FEATURES TOOLS TO REACH THE PEAK OF PERFORMANCE
North Conway, NH (4-9-08) - The Mt Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce will present the 10th Annual Business to Business Expo, 2008 on May 5 at the Mount Washington Hotel. Designed to promote a wide array of products and services offered by local and regional businesses, the theme of this year's expo is "Reach the Peak of Your Business Performance". Educational workshops providing critical information on customer service, NH labor laws and practice, email marketing, tools for business collaboration and communication will be presented by experts. During the Expo luncheon, the annual Mount Washington Valley Awards will be presented, and the day will culminate in a live and silent auction and After Hours reception.
Each year, the Mt Washington Valley Business to Business Expo offers the North Country's largest and most comprehensive opportunity for networking, educational workshops and fun social events. This year more than 80 exhibitors from fields including technology, finance, tourism, health, education, communications, construction, services, and non-profit will be on hand to provide plenty of resources, products and services to help Mt Washington Valley businesses grow and succeed. Everything from jewelry appraisal, media, and high tech services to heath screenings will be highlighted by exhibitors from throughout New England. Highlights of this year's educational program include luncheon keynote speaker Mark McClure, author and Fortune 500 business trainer who'll address "The Ruthless Entrepreneur System: How to Get Clients, Close Deals and Crush the Competition". Mark will later offer a workshop entitled "Over the Top Customer Service". Additionally, Jennifer Sawyer Norvell, Esq., founder and President of Workplace Advisors and Cindy Flynn, Senior Investigator at the New Hampshire Department of Labor will present a workshop entitled "Know the Laws, Reduce Your Risk". In the morning, Sean Ryan of Ares Online Reservation System will offer a workshop on front desk protocol. In the afternoon, a workshop on "Free Communication & Collaboration Tools for Business" will be offered by John Martin of Plymouth State University and Zak Barron of Constant Contact, Inc will talk about the power and strategies for email marketing. Additionally, Memorial Hospital and White Mountain Community Health Center will present health screenings throughout the day.
The day will culminate in a live and silent auction and After Hours reception featuring fun for everyone. Entertainment includes Tarot Reading and handwriting analysis. Each year the variety of products, services, and travel opportunities grows at this wonderful fundraising event to support the Mt Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The Business to Business Expo 2008 is presented by the Mt Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce. Public Service of New Hampshire, WMWV, and Magic 104.5 are presenting sponsors. Fairpoint Communications and Northway Bank will sponsor the After Hours reception. Laconia Savings Bank will sponsor the Awards Luncheon. Registration is required to attend the 10th Annual Business to Business Expo 2008. Registration starts at $45 to attend the Expo luncheon and educational workshops. A registration fee of $95 covers all Expo events plus the evening events. Some student scholarships are available.
