WHIMSICAL FANTASY AT MWVCC's SNOW PRINCESS WINTER CARNIVAL 2008 EVENT

North Conway, NH -  Every little girl's dream of princess-fantasy will come true on February 24, 2008, when Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce presents a Snow Princess Fantasy at the North Conway Grand Hotel from 2:00-8:00pm. Here is your child's chance to dress in her princess-best while she listens to an original story about Mother Earth's magical snow cover, watches a beautiful interpretive dance, and is declared an official snow princess as she twirls in her fanciest dress.

Girls ages four to ten are invited to dress up in their prettiest attire to be presented to the Snow Queen Sedna and her two Princess daughters, Aurora from the North Pole and Stella from the South Pole.  After an interpretive dance presented by Tina Titzer dancers, the queen will read an original story written for this event called Mother Earths Magic Snow Cover.  At the conclusion of the story, one-by-one each child in the audience will be accompanied by footmen to be presented to Queen Sedna and her two daughters whereby magical snowdust will be presented to the child by the queen, then each child will promenade down the aisle to be presented to the audience as official snow princesses. Each snow princesses will receive a memorable snow princess gift bag to take home with her.   It will be a time of fantasy for children who dream of queens and princesses and love to dress up, and a wonderful photo opportunity for parents.

This event will take place at three different times at the North Conway Grand Hotel:

Ages 4 - 5:  12 noon to 2:00pm

Ages 6-7: 3:00 to 5:00pm

Ages 8-10 and up: 6:00-8:00pm

Tickets are $20, and include an entry for a participating child and two adults.  Additional tickets are $8.00 each.  Pre-registration is strictly required with a portion of the proceeds supporting the "Healthy Smiles" children's dental program at the White Mountain Community Health Center. 

This event is presented by the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce.  Additional sponsors include Story Land, North Conway Grand Hotel, Ruthie's Flower Shop, The Wooden Soldier, and Garden Dreams.
