We are a mile's drive from the New Hampshire state line and only a ten mile drive from the vacation hub of North Conway, NH, gateway to the White Mountain National Forest. With Portland, Maine and the seacoast just over an hour to the southeast, the Admiral Peary Inn is the perfect year-round romantic retreat or weekend getaway spot. If you are traveling as a family or a close group, some rooms are interconnected. Each of the unique rooms feature king, queen, or twin beds along with private baths and gas fireplaces.

The Admiral Peary Inn has been influenced by many things from around the world. The original portion of this home has beautiful moldings for doors, windows and ceilings, along with many built-ins of the period and a beautiful early Victorian marble fireplace in the parlor. The inn itself derives its name from Admiral Robert E. Peary, Arctic world explorer and discoverer of the North Pole in 1909. The innkeeper is a traveler and explorer of sorts as well and has named the seven guest rooms from her various experiences during her world travels. Breakfast is a food lover's delight with innovative and traditional dishes. The Admiral Peary Inn Bed & Breakfast has resident animals that have a message for the guests “As fellow dogs you are always welcome in my home and if your people are well behaved you can bring them too.  But you have to call mom first.” Needless to say after that statement, we are a dog-friendly inn.

Specials for midweek stays. Specials for military personnel and their families.

Always dog friendly. Resident dogs and cat who love greeting two and four legged guests.

Military personnel:  I give all my rooms on veterans day to veterans and their families. Mount Washington Valley area restaurants, stores, and attractions all have special treats for military.
